[PERSONALITY] :: Something of a cross between peppy and competitive, Hotaru tends to put people off with an attitude of an extrordanarily outgoing attitude. She doesn't really notice when she's bothering someone, and doesn't really know when to take a hint Sometimes people think she's a blonde... even though she really is a natural red head... In battles and contests however, she actually calms down enough to think and organize her plans, coming out of them with more wins than you'd think she would.

[BACK STORY] :: Growing up in Ecruteak meant Hotaru was exposed to the resident Kimono dance theater where she saw the beautiful performances of both the dancers and pokemon. This helped inspire her to begin the duel route of coordinator and trainer. She received her first pokemon, an Eevee from one of the Kimono girls, on her eleventh birthday. She strives to one day be able to show such beauty and power like the Kimono girls, but to also have a unique strength of her own...
